About Us

Steve Papazian

After graduating from Stanford University and, later, the USC Gould School of Law, Steve began his practice at Kirkland & Ellis, LLP, where he focused on patent litigation in U.S. District Courts and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.  In that role, Steve represented many of the largest technology companies in the world, including Apple, Cisco, and Medtronic, and dealt with a diverse range of technological areas, including chip design, Power-over-Ethernet, aerospace radar systems, network routing and switching protocols, and medical devices.

Five years later, Steve moved to an IP boutique law firm where he expanded his practice, litigating patent, copyright, trademark, Lanham Act, and other claims in state and federal court.  As a complement to this litigation practice, Steve also developed years of experience actively counseling clients—including Fortune 500 companies and start-ups—across a range of strategic intellectual property and business decisions, including licensing discussions, patent portfolio assessments, and other intellectual property strategy.

Today, Steve leads Papazian IP Law, APC and its diverse practice of litigation and transactional matters, bringing to bear his big-law and boutique IP experience to achieve exceptional results for his clients.
